Bananas, you can see it everywhere you go. You can also make them as a delicious snack with them. Also, it is easy to make it into delicious snacks as it requires minimal amount of ingredients, time, and effort. Turon is one of the best and most delicious snack that you can make with bananas.

Turon is a type of Filipino snack. It is also called deep-fried banana rolls or banana lumpia. A typical Filipino meryenda and dessert. Turon has gained its popularity throughout the years. This sweet snack can usually be seen on the streets being peddled along with bananacue or even vegetable lumpia. It is easy to make and the ingredients are inexpensive.

Therefore, I conclude that this sweet Filipino snack can help reduce the poverty rate in our country as we can make or use it to start a small business. Aside from its popularity among Filipinos, its selling or starting price is pretty affordable so, I recommend this sweet recipe if you’re about to start a small business.

INGREDIENTS:
·        6 pieces banana saba or plantains, cut in half (lengthwise)
·        1 cup of ripe jackfruit, sliced (optional)
·        1 ½ cup of sugar
·        12 pieces lumpia wrapper

PROCEDURES:
1.      Roll the banana on the sugar plate and ensure that the banana is coated with enough sugar.
2.      Place the banana with sugar coating in the spring roll wrapper and add some ripe jackfruit.
3.      Fold and lock the spring roll wrapper, us water to seal edge.
4.      In a pan, heat the oil and put in some sugar. Wait until the brown sugar floats.
5.      Put in the wrapped banana and fry until the wrappers turns golden brown and the extra sugar sticks on the wrapper.
6.      Serve hot as a dessert or snack. Share and enjoy!
